Cinghialtracks Project:
The CINGHIAL TRACKS (literally, ‘wild boar trail or tracks’) project springs from a great passion a group of friends from Valbormida have for sports and for nature..
The constant commitment to attempt to further develop and make the most of natural heritage of the Riserva Naturalistica dell'Adelasia (Adelasia Nature Reserve), has been recognized as it has recently been included among the "Siti di Interesse Comunitario (S.I.C)" (“Sites of Interest in the Community”).
Aware of the immense value of this natural asset, the individuals involved decided to develop the project with a grander vision in mind, forming the association “Associazione Ricreativo Culturale
Sportiva Cinghialtracks" (“Cinghialtracks Association for Sports, Recreation & Culture”. The objective: to build an official point of reference for the local communities and at the same time, to further develop their own organization skills.
“Cinghialtracks” wants to re-look at the environment as having social and education value, as a meeting point - especially for the young, who are often isolated from a society that is now based on electronic interaction – and for senior citizens, who can find well-being physical and mental well-being in nature.
"a.r.c.s. Cinghialtracks" is recognized in the "Riserva Naturalistica
dell'Adelasia" and in the forests of Valbormida as an important natural range for ‘the outdoor lifestyle’ and in particolar for lovers of walking, hiking, horseback riding, mountain bikini and caving.
